The Anti-Drug Forum is proud to announce their expansion in various area’s in KZN including Pietermaritzburg and the Phoenix area. The organization which was formed in 2005 has grown immensely since its inception and is now opening many brighter doors to service the community in the fight against substance abuse and is striving even further for a drug free community. The Anti-Drug Forum which is based in 17 Trisula Avenue, Arena Park Chatsworth was recently visited by the Newly Selected PMB Executive community. A workshop was conducted with the team by Director Sam Pillay, Social Workers S. Bechoo and C Marx and Facilitator K Pillay. Each aspect of the organization and how the different services work was presented to the PMB ADF Executive committee who were extremely astounded by the work and excited to get it started in their own area. Many brilliant ideas of programs and initiatives were discussed in the workshop with both teams. The community of KZN can look forward to much more from the Anti-Drug Forum this year!
Sam Pillay Director of the Anti-Drug Forum said: “I am extremely excited about replicating the Anti-Drug forum! Our first Branch has been launched in Pietermaritzburg already. We strongly believe that this is the solution for the substance abuse situation within our communities. We are planning to spread our wings in other areas as well. We are looking forward to a great year ahead!”
